PROGRAM/CLUB ASSEMBLY: Jason Huntley invited Chad Savage, M.D. to be Rotary’s luncheon speaker. He spoke on “How to Increase Your Pay Without Needing a Raise”.
PROGRAM: There was no program today but Mike and Jane McManus gave a brief update on the Rotary International conference in South Korea; and Mike Bourke and Piet Lindhout gave an update on the Dash or Crash which is June 25.

Program Host Jerry Hardesty introduced Rick Jackson, a Big 10 Division I Lacrosse and Football Official for the past 37 yearsPROGRAM/CLUB ASSEMBLY: LuAann Loy invited Garbriella Hoffman, the band director for all bands at Brighton High School and 27 talented jazz musicians from Brighton High School, which provided the luncheon entertainment.
PROGRAM: LuAnn Loy presented Sean LaRosa, executive director of Early Childhood Services for the Livingston Education Services Agency (LESA).

Program Host Greg Gray, PhD, and Brighton Area Schools Superintendent, conducted a tour and field trip of the new Brighton High School (BHS) athletic facilities. NOTE - Next week’s (April 26th) Rotary meeting will be at the Brighton High School instead of meeting at the Brighton Community Center. The meeting will be at the same time, just a different location. Park in the back by the Fieldhouse and Pool. There is an open parking lot by the Fieldhouse door.

Our Club hosted members of the Brighton Area Women’s History Roll of Honor and the induction ceremony for the 2016 group of honorees. PROGRAM: Mark Cook presented Paul and Mary Ellen Huber, who live near Cleveland and are creators and board members for charitable, non-profit organization called Helping Haitians in Need.

PROGRAM: Bonnie Corrigan presented Matt Riesterer whose program featured the Appalachian Service Project, which sends volunteers to five Appalachian states to provide warmer, safer and dryer housing.

PROGRAM: The Brighton Rotary Club, in recognition of World Polio Day, raised $4,440 during a single lunch that was produced by Rotarian Tom Coates.
